We Fund - Play For Humanity

Play for Humanity is aiming to help eradicate poverty through sponsoring already established charities and organisations.
In order to sponsor these organisations we must create revenue and this will be done through sponsors who will commit at least 10% of their usual advertising costs to place an advert on the PFH site. The revenue must go directly to the sponsored from the sponsor as we will never handle any of the money raised.
Because we are stubborn and won't have aything to do with the money side of things it makes it difficult for us to ask, but we must;
Right now we are developing a game to draw visitors to the site and we have a smaller game ready to go up on the site to keep our visitors occupied while they wait. However we require some more sofware to finish the process and put it up on the site. In addition to this software there is another programme we need to start animated an educational series on out youtube.
We normally save up for these things ourselves but it's taking longer than expected and we decided to try crowdfunding to speed up the process.
With this campaign we hope to get the small game online to buy time for the development of our final game.

Witcher 3s beard progression

The witcher 3, from developers Cd Projekt Red, is released for the PS4, Xbone and PC on 19th May. And it has an awesome feature that we at Top Beard are happy to see.

In a statement made to Eurogamer, the studio's communications chief Michael Platkow-Gilewski confirmed the protagonist's facial hair has a variety of beard "states" that will be triggered over time and by moving between location.

"The beard grows as time passes and when Geralt moves between locations. The beard has several "states" and these states determine its length - the longest is really long but it's not Gandalf-long,"

If players prefer, they can choose an unchanging style of facial hair by downloading the free Beard and Hairstyle DLC.

Let's hope this feature will be featured in more games from now on.

Man faces jail after gluing his beard to someone else’s head to create a toupĂ©e

A man is facing jail time after he cut off his own hair and beard and tried to glue it to another man’s head in an apparent attempt to create a toupée.

The man, who is in his 40s, has already been convicted seven times and fined 13 times, mainly for ‘nuisance’ crimes in Hordaland county, Norway, said prosecutor Harald Bilberg.

But Mr. Bilberg said that on this occasion, the man claimed the recipient of the beard toupée had consented to the transplant

‘He was bald, so the accused claims that they had agreed to create a toupée for the aggrieved party,’ he told Bergens Tidende.

‘I must admit that I have never encountered such a case in my career.’

The man is also being tried for a series of petty crimes including burglary and theft.

He was arrested again on Friday after breaking the restraining order imposed on him to protect the recipient of the beard toupée.

Not just manly, there could be health benefits to growing a beard

Not just manly, there could be health benefits to growing a beard

WASHINGTON - Beards offer more than just a symbol of masculinity.

A recent article by Mother Nature Network shows having a beard can benefit your health.
The study says beards protect against the sun. Beards block 90 to 95 percent of UV rays, slowing the aging process and reducing the risk of skin cancer, according to the University of Southern Queensland.
Dermatologist Dr. Nick Lowe tells Mother Nature Network that hair generally offers good protection against sun.
"It's similar to an SPF," he says. "The higher the hair density and thickness, the higher the SPF."
Facial hair near the nose reduces asthma and allergy symptoms, according to the study. Experts suggest that mustaches can also act as a filter and stop allergens before they settle in.
